The Art Of Framing

Stephen Caddell was born in the Midwest on the North side of St.Louis, MO and has been a sketch artist since childhood. Growing up in a dysfunctional family was not easy for him. At the age of fourteen Stephen was driven to the streets. While finding his way through a harsh environment he was a wall tagging, street running graffiti artist. After years of finding his way through ups and downs of that environment he headed down south to go to school where he earned his Bachelors in Fine Arts, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Memphis College of Art in Memphis, Tennessee.

Currently Stephens artwork consists of controversy as to whether its considered to be a serious or a humorous piece. He continues to create art reflecting reality on how/what he sees life evolving around him. He also incorporates the passion of others in their struggle of everyday life in the United States.
